brand name for the drug liothyronine sodium. This is not an anabolic steroid but a thyroid hormone. It is interesting that acne and hair loss only occur rarely which might be due to the fact that the substance is not converted into dihydrotestosterone

(DHT). Some athletes report nausea, headaches, and loss of appetite when they inject more than one ampule (76 mg) per week. Since Parabolan considerably reduces the endogenic testosterone production, the use of testosterone-stimu-lating compounds at the end of intake is suggested. In older athletes there is an increased risk that Parabolan could induce growth of the male prostate gland. How long to use it:

The second option is to take propionate during the entire period of intake. This, however, requires a periodic injection every second day. Best results can be obtained with 50-100 mg per day or every second day. The bodybuilder as already mentioned, will experience visibly lower water retention than with the depot testosterones so that propionate is well liked by body builders who

easily draw water with enanthate. A good stack for gaining muscle mass would be, for example, 100 mg Testosterone propionate every 2 days, 50 mg Winstrol Depot every 2 days, and 30 mg Dianabol/day. The belief that the weak anabolic nature of this compound indicated a tendency to block the androgen receptor in muscle tissue, thereby reducing the gains of other more potent muscle building steroids, should likewise not be taken seriously. In fact due to its extremely high affinity for plasma binding proteins such as SHBG, Provironum© may actually work to potentate the activity of other steroids by displacing a higher percentage into a free, unbound state. Among athletes Provironum© is primarily used as an antiestrogen. It is believed to act as an antiaromatase in the body, preventing or slowing the conversion of

steroids into estrogen. The result is somewhat comparable to Arimidex© (though less profound), the drug acting to prevent the buildup of estrogen in the body. This is in contrast to Nolvadex©, which only blocks the ability of estrogen to bind and activate receptors in certain tissues. The anti-aromatization effect is preferred, as it is a more direct and efficient means of dealing with the problem of estrogenic side effects. A related disadvantage to Nolvadex© is that if discontinued too early, a rebound effect may occur as high serum estrogen levels are again free to take action. This of course could mean a rapid onset of

side effects such as gynecomastia and water retention. Most athletes actually prefer to use both Provironum© and Nolvadex©, especially during strongly estrogenic cycles. With each item attacking estrogen at a different angle, side effects are often greatly minimized.

Cycling Clenbuterol

The third reason for the popularity of Anavar is that oxandrolone does not influence the body's own testosterone production. This special feature of Anavar can be explained by the fact that the oxandrolone is not converted into estrogen.

Although dianabol has many potential side

effects, they are rare with a dosage of up to 20 mg./day. Danabol / Dianabol causes a considerable strain on the liver and high dosages or use of over a longer period of time, is liver-toxic. Therefore this AAS is somewhat deactivated in the skin, scalp, and prostate, and these tissues experience an effectively-lower androgen level than the rest of the body. Therefore, for the same amount of activity as another drug at the androgen

receptors (ARs) in muscle tissue, Deca gives less activity in the scalp, skin, and prostate. Thus, it is the best choice for those particularly concerned with these things.

In this "stepping down" procedure the user is attempting to turn the watery bulk of a strong testosterone into the more solid muscularity we see with nandrolone preparations. In many instances this practice proves to be very effective. Of course we must remember to still administer ancillary drugs at the conclusion, as endogenous testosterone production will not be rebounding during the Deca

Durabolin therapy.

Also, as with most steroids, injected testosterone will inhibit your natural test levels and HPTA (Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis). A mere Hundred mgs of test/week takes about 5-6 weeks to shut the HPTA, and 250-500mgs shuts you down by week 2 (4).

By minimizing the production of DHT, we should greatly reduce many of these harsh side effects and make our testosterone cycles more comfortable. Trenbolone increases nitrogen retention in muscle tissue (5). This is of note because nitrogen retention is a strong indicator of how anabolic a substance is. Cytomel is not an anabolic/androgenic steroid but a thyroid hor­mone. As a substance it contains synthetically manufactured liothyronine sodium which resembles the natural thyroid hormone tricodide-thyronine (L-T3). The thyroid of a healthy person usually produces

two hormones, the better known L-thyroxine (L-T4) and the aforementioned L-trilodine~thyronine (L-T3). Since Cytomel is the synthetic equivalent of the latter hormone, it causes the same processes in the body as if the thyroid were to produce more of the hormone. It is interesting to note that L-T3 is clearly the stronger and more effective of these two hormones. This makes Cytomel more effective than the commercially available L-T4 compounds such as L-thyroxine or Synthroid. The manufacturer of the German L-T3 compound, Hoechst AG, ascribes the following characteristics to its Thybon drug, making it clear that L-T3 is

superior to L-T4: "The synthetically manufactured thyroid hormone, L-trilodine-thyronine (L-T3), included in Thybon, in experimental and clinical testing has proven to be 4-5 times more biologically active and to take effect more quickly than L-thyroxine (L-T4)". In school medicine Cytomel is used to treat thyroid insufficiency (hypothyroidism). Among other secondary symptoms are obesity, metabolic disorders, and fatigue. Bodybuilders take advantage of these charcteristics and stimulate their metabolism by taking Cytomel, which causes a faster conver­sion of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. interested in an increased lipolysis, which means in­creased fat burning. Competing bodybuilders, in particular, use Cytomel during the weeks before a championship since it helps to maintain an extremely low fat content, without necessitating a hunger diet.
